os surpass 70 or 91?
Hello everybody,
I was wondering if an Os Surpass 70 will give unlimited vertical to a 6 pounds plane. I also would like to know if it is enough power to hover and fly out of hover. If not, do you think that a 91 would be too much, considering the small size of the plane which is 55 inches?
Thanks

Chris,
I have an OS91FSII on my 6.5 pound H9 Ultra Stick. I can go vertical all day long with as little as 1/2 throttle. I am using an APC 15x6 and getting 8800 rpm. The OS70 should be OK but I do not know about a vertical pull out with it.

i have a H-9 Pizzaz (48 inch span) with a OS 70 surpass and a 13-6 prop. i don't have unlimited vertical but a lot of trust to make hovering ! i think you will be better with a .91 for vertical on a 6 pounds plane... but its depend on what you whant to do !!
