My flying goes back to pre-ARTF.
Now, it's too easy to buy new models knowing that you will be flying them all too soon.
I still remember drooling over an OS Minitron though. This was as beautiful as any radio today.

You must be a real old timer since ARF's and RTF's could be bought in the late 1800's
