I just got a Rascal 40 arf and I noticed the wing is installed as 2 pieces for easy transport. Any one flying it this way or have you glued the wings together. I drive a large vehicle so transporting a whole isn't a problem. OK guys or gals lets hear it.

Thanks

Default Rascal wing

Just got mine the other day haven't started it yet. There was a thread in here a few weeks ago and some of them left the wing as a two peace wing. They even said they were doing knife edge loops with it. Mine will have a os-52 four stroke and Futaba radio gear.

Default rascal 40

its hard to explain, i have just returned to flying but i feel
comfortable flying, the plane feels real touchy, also if the is
any wind, any wind at all and you idle up it will leap into the
air, maybe i just have to get used to it, iam flying a WM supersport 40, my first low wing airplane and it flys perfect...! when i wear this one out iam getting another, great plane..!

bhouck, maybe your holding to much up elevator when you taxi. My cub is the same way, when I taxi the Cub i let the tail come up as speed buids and then it slowly lifts into the air, sweet.

I glued my wing together. I have a pick-up truck and I don't need the two piece wing. The wing is strong. I have a YS 63 in mine and I do all kinds of radical stunts with the plane and it don't fall apart. Wide open flat spins and 5 minute knife edge flight.
