I have been flying my Dragon Lady ARC for two years now. A great flying airplane. The instruction manual says the CG is 4" to 4 1/4" back from the leading edge. Balance the plane inverted. I have an OS 108 with a n APC 16x7 prop. Plenty of power. This plane needs at least a .90 2c. It's a good size airplane. Good flying

I don't think you will find a Dragon Lady ARC. They quite making them 2 or 3 years ago. I got mine from a hobby shop that had only two left. A friend of mine got the other. It's really too bad. Even though they cost the same the ARF covering seems to be a problem. I think the best you can do is get one on sale and strip it if the covering is bad. It really is a nice airplane. Good luck!

I don't think the factory covering is all that bad if you can live with four or five wrinkles on the top of the fuse. It does take higher heat with a covered iron to lay them down. A couple of planes I was foolish to use MonoKote; the Lady has less wrinkles that I don't have to shrink after a couple of weeks sitting in a cool basement.
The 4"- 4 1/4" cg is more accurately obtained by testing inverted. When lifting while upright, it is closer to 5" to get the same balance.

Buy the ARF and remove the covering. Except for a couple small (yellow) areas on the wing, the covering came off super easy.

OAN, there's a good chance the CG was the same from the old ARC, to the new ARF, however, I think I would email Modeltech to confirm that. I had the old one but don't recall the CG....sorry.

SkyBound - would you by chance still have the instrustions for the Dragon Lady ARC. I just acquired one, but no instructions. I would certainly want to pay for your efforts, thanks.
