with the 120 ax you will want to upgrade all the hw you can. maybe glass the wing joint. have a ys110 on mine and it is evil.the 120ax should pull it even more. i`m suprised this plane is not more popular. i love mine.

My LHS carries them. Just search Dave Brown on tower's site and it should take you right to them. They are called 'fiberglass push rod syestem'. If you dont like those, Sullivan carries a different kind of system that is great also.

RUSSM,

What prop would you recommend for the 120 and what r's should I be looking for? You said you were using a 15X8 on your minnow. On my last Toni with the Saito125 I was using a 14X10apc and was getting around 8900rpm

I have a Little Toni with the OS91 engine. I have upgraded to a Cline regulator, and UltraThrust muffler, and Cool Power 20%pro pattern. The Cline regulator seems to work better that the Perry pump. Radar gun shows 120 to 125, it takes a lot of nerve to stand in the middle of the runway and point the radar gun at the Little Toni coming at you doing 120+ MPH, hard to find someone to do it. I tried a few props, ended up with the APC 14x7.

I used the OS 35mm extension from Tower(16.99), the muffler and extension are installed after the cowling. The OS screws are metric, the Ultra Thrust are standard, I found the screws at the local hardware. It is the OS91FX, I also have the OS120AX on the Hangar9 Ultra Stick 60. The 120 will not turn the rpms like the 91, but it has a lot of torque and works great with the APC 16x10 prop. The photo of the full scale Minnow(Little Toni's cousin) is hanging in the airport at Rochester, NY.

Between 120mph and 125mph. Some days it just flys faster.

I almost purchased the Jett 90 Little Toni setup, but got into gas to keep to with the guys at the club. Still like that speed. Have you had any problems with the Jett engines? I have a hot OS50sx thatI have had to replace the bearings every 20 to 25 flights(Kaos 40). The gas planes are 50cc size and about $2000 each. I upgraded to the new JR9303 2.4Ghz plus 5 receivers from JR7202. All are great radios.

some of the guys in our club bought the new jr 2.4 radios just for their big gassers. the jett engines are strong and as realable as a os. the toni-90lx setup is fast.as the engine really breaks in it is starting to feel a lot faster. have a ys63 on my kaos. nice combo.

I use just a touch of flapperon mixed with the elevator part of the air brake mix in my Futaba radio. Use it with power on though if not you may stick a wing in the ground.... The sullivan rods work great.

I am using the Truturn 3" spinner(tt-3102b) from Tower. With a $10 coupon, it was $26. With the APC 14x7 prop, it is very smooth at 14,000 rpm. Has anyone tried a parachute for braking?

All the spinners I have got with the arf's have been way out of balance. All I have done with them is used my dremmel and ground it out. It took me about an hour and a half but I finally got it balanced well. I was surprised at the end of it all to see how much meat I actually did take out. I also used the supplied mount.
