The lead time seems to be getting longer. I gave up, cancelled the order, and got a SIG Sukhoi. I'm assembling it now. I looks good.

Try the World Models Extra 300S 160 that just came out. They have a color scheme that looks identical to the GP Patty.
In my experience, WM quality is top notch.

I canceled my order and got a used Midwest extra with a G45 at for the same price. I am still getting it ready. I got tired of waiting.

It is not unusual for "any "manufacturer to put a picture of
a "model " into a publication to see what the response is.
If they get alot of interest they build it, if not it goes away
quietly.
No doubt that at least one has been built photo'd and tested,
but before committing to kitting they will hang back to find out
if anyone will buy it.
This is a very common practice in the electronics industry

Great planes makes a good plane. Rather than wait and the fact that the Worl Models Extra 300S has larger wings, I bought one. I was really supprised at the quality of the wood and glue joints. You have to assemble the engine box. the font former / firewall is already fiberglassed. The covering is the best I"ve seen on an ARF. The turttle deck, hatch and front of the deck are all sheeted foam. The included hardwarewas fine except for the linkages and controll horns. They would probably work, but I used rocket city and Dubro threaded rod control horns.
Why WAIT? I put and Brisson 2.4 on mine. The 3W-50 and Bme 50 weigh about the same.
Good luck
Ron

thrust question
Just purchased gp Patty wagstaff for chief aircraft. They say they have it in stock, but havent seen it yet. Im also on the official waiting list for the new da50! I have never considered mounting an engine to overcome rt thrust. Can someone please tell me how to figure out what degree offset must be used. I did see aerografixs have engine standoff's with offset built-in. What do you-all think of these. one more question! rocket city hardware seems to be the way to go! your thoughts!! Thank- you
