I have 3 NIB ARFs and 1 UlraSport 1000 that my builder finished a few months ago.

GP Patty Extra 300
CG Sukhoi 120
H9 33% Cap232 (back up for the one I already have done)

Besides these I have 8 flyable planes ready to go, 2 foamies, 3 glow planes and 3 gassers. Next on my want list is the H9 27% Extra260, maybe my friends 40% Aeroworks Edge540. I'm a very slow builder so I like to buy stuff already built. Sounds like you guys have some nice kits laying around all I can say is get er done!

ivansie,

I ordered the VF 540, was planning on putting a Magnum 91 in it. I then rethought my thinking, if that makes sense, and had them change the order from the 540 to the Extra 66".

Maybe I should just get both.

Cap232CM,
What are you going to power the C.G. Sukhoi with?
I had a pumped Webra 120 in mine with a modified carb, great combo and a great flying plane, no bad habits.

Well I thought about using my Irvine 1.50 that I have sitting here but this might be too much motor. What do you think?

Too much engine? That's what the throttle is for.

Default RE: How many ARF's (NIB) do you have waiting to be built?

Standing in the middle of a windless runway the other day made me wish for my GP Cub Fabric covered ARF to be done, so it's just out of the box and on the bench with an OS .70 next to it.

In the box:

Sportsman Aviation Spitfire .60
Dymond models me163 Komet Speed 400

Kits that are 75% or more completed and may as well be ARF's at this point:

Pica 1/6 Cessna 182
Sig Kougar
Sig Kadet MkII (Saving that one for the Kid's trainer)

Since some of you listed your kits as well, thought I'd plunk mine down too:

Dynaflite Spitfires (both the 81" and the .40 size)
Page aviation Gee Bee Z
House of Balsa P-51 Mustang .40
Great Planes Sportster Bipe (Approaching ARF status)
Krick Klemm L25
World Engines Mister Mulligan
Pica 1/12 Corsair
Pica 1/12 FW 190

I need another ARF/Kit like I need hole in my head [sm=bananahead.gif]

(A quote from my wife to the above line as she sees me typing this) "Yeah...as if that's stopped any of you!"

NEWSFLASH!!!

I decided to keep the 540, it came in and looks sweeet. Now I have to get some time and build it. The instructions are a little lacking but I can handle it anyway.

Guess I'll have to put the Uproar 60 and SSE kits on the back burner for now.

It looks like I'm below average with only 3 waiting to be built. I guess it's OK to go ahead and buy the Cermark f-16 I've been talking myself out of.

ZERO (0) !!

I buy them. Look them over for a day or two and then build them. I don't quit until they are finished.

Oh,,, by the way. You guessed it. I'm divorced now. Funny how this sport can effect things like that isn't it ?.

Jerry,
You hit a nerve. I have about 40 Kits and 14 ARFs, some of the ARF's are in various stages of assembly. Not to mention the 30 or so models currently flying. I flew with Johnathan the other day at the field. He seems to be enjoying living back here in Huntsville.
Later Robert.

ORIGINAL: HighSierra

How about ZERO... Seems I start to assemble the day I get one... I think I've got a problem where I can't let anything just sit...

ARFs:

Thunder Tiger Imagine 50 - half built
Phoenix Models SeaBee - NIB
H9 Solo Star 40 Trainer - NIB but need to send in right wing half for warranty replacement
Sig E-Force - NIB
Sig Lil' Rascal EP - NIB

Kits:

Ace Hobby Whizard 1/2A - NIB
Great Planes Rapture 40 - NIB

I also have a pretty lengthy list of pending repair jobs and auction purchases that need to be outfitted for flying. It seems like I've been sick with cold or flu the whole damned month of Decemeber, and haven't felt up to working on anything so far.

Wow! I was feeling guilty because I have a Seagull Edge 540 ARF in the box and wanted to order another plane (either the new H9 Toledo Special or H9 Sundowner 50).
