Need Cowl for Kyosho Corsair
Hi Folks,
I have a NIB Kyosho Corsair ( from "Scratch and Dent" sale) and I need a cowl for it. They (Tower) no longer sell this as a spare part. I checked Stans Fibertech but he does not offer this one. Anyone have one to sell?
Steve

RE: Need Cowl for Kyosho Corsair
Hi Richard,
You're right about that, when I received the plane and realized I needed another cowl, I placed one on backorder through Tower. I kept the plane because I saved quite a few $$ as a scratch and dent item. As of today, I was informed that my backorder would be canceled because Kyosho has discontinued the part. Tower said that I could return the plane to them, but I thought I would give RCU a try first.
I should probably add the dimensions to this post: It measures approx. 6 7/8" ID at the rear, tapers to 6" ID at the nose and has a length of about 5 1/4". The opening at the nose is 4 1/2" in dia. I have never done this, but I suppose I could make a wood plug and create one out of glass.
