Oh geeze... you meant airplanes.... Ok..... I love how Arf's are about the same price as a kit after you throw all the covering and glue into the picture.

Hate the metric hardware in 1/2 of them.

BAD ARF INSTRUCTIONS!
I mean when the instructions tell you to build a pushrod X inches in length and you do and come to find out it is 2 inches to short and you have to build one all over again![:@][:@][:@]
And of course CRASHING PLANES and trying to fix, I hate repairing!

I LOVE the maiden flight of a new plane and everyhing goes as plan without any trimming and a great landing to boot![sm=lol.gif]

- all of these new ARF offerings. I never had a bipe because I did not want to build two wings, now I have a GP Pitts.

all hardware i use carbon push rods and hangar9 control horns dubro safety lock quick links the black plastic kind

Phillip's screws i threw 5.3 pounds away i use only Allen heads in everything

great planes cuz of their no problems of their wings blowing the freak up and discontinue planes way to early

Imperial or "standard" units:
- Working out how long 2 and 31/64ths of an inch really is
- Comparing 1.47 pounds with 24 ounces (or should that be one pound 8 ounces)
- Seeing pints, quarts, fractions of a gallon, cubic inches and fluid ounces used to describe the same volume

Things I love:

Metric! Just grams, metres and litres! Much easier!

HATE-Stupidity that causes all of the following. tuning your engine on the runway while I'm flying. Driving slower than me in the fast lane. Thinking I want to see your heli hover for 30 minutes over the runway. Asking to fly my planes.(if I want you to fly it I'll ask you). Leaving your car at the pump while you d*ck off for 10 minutes in the store. Letting your kids invade my quiet space. Someone *****ing about having to convert inches to mm when they know it should all be in inches. Listing to two dumba**es tell two German guys on Harleys that water boiles at about 100 degrees.(it happened this summer).

LIKES- Flying, Tang(not the stuff Neil Armstrong drinks) Cold beer on a hot day. Second gear scratch. New car smell. Feeling open headers on the floor boards.

Sorry not all mine are RC related. And yes I'm an angry bast*rd. It's been a bad week.

Spectators who's first words out of their mouth is '"how much does that cost?"
People who don't watch their kids in the pits.
Unsolisited advice at the field while working on a plane.

Love:
Showing up at the field and feeling like Norm when he walks into Cheers.
Making a suggestion to figure out a problem and being right.
A steady breeze straight down the runway.
A maiden, either doing one or watching one, it doesn't get better than that.
