Default 61FX-Ultra Stick 40 or 60?

Thanks in advance for any help!
I have an OS 61FX that I was going to put in an Ultra Stick 40. I was then told by numerous people that a 46FX was best for that model. My ordeal is: Do I attempt to put the 61FX on the US40 or is it enough engine for the US60? I can trade in the US40 for a US60, but I want to make sure that it will be enough power.
I do like some of the mods that some of you guys have done! Such as the servos in the rear!!! I love that one.
I think I can balance the 61 in the US40 by using the mods, but I sure would like the extra 10 inches in wingspan...so that's where I figured I needed some advice.
Thanks again,
Steve

I"ve heard that the 60 is easier to fly than the 40. I have the 40 version with the 46fx, and the verticle is not unlimited, but it will climb slowly vertically, and hover at 3/4 throttle. I would assume that the 61 fx would be fine for the 60 size version since it is only 1 lb heavier. Just use a prop with a big diameter and small pitch.

Don't do it, I've seen the 60 size fly with the 61 on there and it's horrible. I don't know what to compare it to it was so bad. Put the 91 fx on there, same weight, but a hell of a lot more power, unlimited vertical.
