I understand Goldberg was taken over by Lanier and l am currently
interested in a Goldberg Ultimate arf. Should l be concerned?
I've read a few times about unhappy Lanier customers. Just wondering.
Thanks..

I had a cracked cowl in my Pitts. Called 1-678-450-0085 and talked to a very friendly lady that directed me to their warranty claim form and I filled it out and mailed it in. Canopy and some small missing parts are on their way. A+

I built a carl goldberg extra 300 at the begininning of the year. I built a extra 300 15yrs ago. But in know way was this the same kit.I was very dissapointed with the discrepancies between the manual, the wood cut out and the, planes!!

I new about the cheap plastic cowl and wheel pants problem beforehand. so I called Lanier to see if they offered a upgrade.

I spoke to three people each of them denied ANY problems with the plastic parts.Told me that if I used the cowl, it would NEVER crack!!!
Each person I talked to got more and more rude.
Instead of helping me find replacement parts they were worried with me wanting them for free!!
I know there is a problem with the plastic cowl. I was not trying to complain! I was just trying to get a fiberglass cowl that wouldn't fall apart.
I use to love Golberg planes, workmanship. I dought If I will ever by a Goldberg again.
To be honest with you not just because of the lack of pride in their work. But mostly in the fact that they tried to lie to me instead of providing the customer service that they should have!!

Thanks for the responce, I think the goldberg makes some of the best quality arf's around. Everythink is straight and built very strong. I was missing parts for the Sukhoi, and having difficulty getting them.
