Default Kangke Laser 2000 - What Motor?

I am building a Kangke laser 2000 and wondered if anyone has fitted a Zenoah G62 in one of these ?

Any other engine suggestions please let me know

The prototype used a G62. With Yuri at the controls it could do it all. The g62 was chosen because he had one and if your flying 2 inches from the ground you need the most reliable engine you can find.

If you check the assembly manuel, you will notice that the prototype lazer 2000 was flown with a brison 2.4 gas engine. If you want outstanding 3d power, use a brison 3.2 gas engine. While I feel that the zenoah g62 is a great engine, i use a g62 in a cardin el bandito, i feel the g62 is too much weight for this plane. the weight should be under 15 lbs if built correctly.

if you contact kangke and speak to ray he will tell you the same as i have told you.

what ever engine you choose, good luck with the plane. i used a brison 2.4 in mine, and while it does not have unlimited verticle i have ample power for normal aerobatic flying.

I had one with a G-62 in it and loved it for my kind of sport flying. I flew it for 3 years and reluctantly(too many planes)sold it to a friend of mine who wanted to get into gassers. Great combo that I'd recommend to anyone...................

Can someone give me the dimensions of the landing gear they use on the Laser? Thanks in advance.

I'm also building a Kangke Laser and will mount a DA50 in it. Are you guys using the CA hinges that are included in the box?
