Hi Bigbird,
I would like to buy the two of them.
Can you recall the price when they were still available at Tower Hobbies? Then we can go from there.
Would you please poste a few pictures of each one. Hope I'm not asking too much.
Thank you very much.

Best regards

Rudy

Hi.
I have a cowl witch has bin cut out for clearance for a cylinder head on the under side of a previous installed gas engine. I can let it go as soon I'm able to get a dummy engine witch than I would install to the new cowl I got from Tower Hobby back in 2015 when they were still available. I can't post any pictures yet because I have less than 10 posts on RC Universe.

Hi
Would you have the one for the US Navy Stearman?
Bigbird3 has them for the Supper Stearman.

Put Dubro inflatable tires on it and it will protect the fiberglass landing gear fairings from damage. Mine are 15 years old and still intact. Also, the DLE 20 is a natural for the plane but a 21cc 4-stroke gas engine would be nice as well.

I really wanted to go with a radial but I really need to stop dumping unnecessary coins and just go with a basic 4 stroke. I guess everything is unnecessary . So will probably drop an OS FS 120 or FS 110 in it and call it a day.

In any event, you'll enjoy the plane. It flies quite well.

I have been flying my GP Stearman for many years now on a Saito 125 and 16x8 prop the perfect combo in my opinion....

Nice bird. Yeah I think power wise, an OS FS-120 or Saito FA-125 are by far the best power combo. To me the Saito 150 balances out perfect with a 6v NIMH in the firewall battery box and gives you an engine that can run a scale size prop. I am running an 18x6 prop on mine now and it looks way better.

Well ended up damaging my Hangar 9 P-51 150. It is fixable but found another new in the box. So removed my Saito FA-150 and will put in that new P-51. Good news it I have a Saito FA-170R3 that has been sitting for a while.

The Saito FA-170R3 balances spot on!!!! Will probably extend out a little to add a cowl. If I do that the glow battery should balance it back out. Now just need to fly the thing again 😊. This thing at half throttle runs for 20 minutes with 3/4 tank left, 3/4 throttle a little over half tank and 16 minutes to dry with full throttle! Love it!!!!
