Default Sportsman Aviation Corsair

The cg as suggested by the manufacture make the plane very tail heavey, has anyone built this model? Are the specifications correct as per instruction?

I have this same Corsair and in the middle of building it. Nice plane and well made!

How much weight do you need to add to get it to balance on the CG???
Are you balancing the Corsair upside down with the wheels locked inside the wings??
What size motor+pipe are you using?? Have you placed your Batt. and RX. up against the firewall??
I plan on using a OS .61FX.
I hope the CG listed is right. Let us know how you make out with the CG and/or if you find that the CG listed is wrong.

Researched other corsairs, the gp corsair is within fractions of an inch of the same dimensions. The gp corsair calls for a cg at 4 inches against the fuse from the leading edge of the wing. When. the plane was cged the plane was on the money without adding weight with a saito 72 for powerplant. If you follow the directions in the instruction book, you will have to add over a pound of lead to the nose of the plane.

Haven't flown it yet. Did not follow the instruction book. went with gp point for cg.
