I'm sure there is...I just picked one up for essentially the old retail price, so I bet there are others that would do the same. Alternatively, based on the multiple threads in this forum, I suspect if you're not adverse to a little work, you could part it out for more $. I've seen post for cowl, gear doors, gear door actuator wires, tail wheel mount, dummy radial, ...

Cheers

There is a market for them. The biggest drawback is it is a huge box and is very expensive to ship. I sold mine a few years ago, I believe to Maryland from CT. The cost through UPS was almost $150. It's very hard to get what the plane is worth when you have to add that much on for shipping.

Just received a giant scale ARF from the South to Pacific Northwest via Greyhound Package Express for $65, last month from Florida ~$100, both arrived in about a week with no damage. Downside is marginal tracking at best and no door to door service, so you have to go to local Greyhound bus depot to collect.

Cheers

I have also shipped and received through GH package. As you said prices are good, tracking has a lot to be desired. I once waited over a month for a plane coming from the west coast. The seller was going through the process of filing a claim when he was notified by GH it was at the station here in Hartford, someone dropped the ball along the tracking route.I'm not real sure how you misplace a 24''x24''x48'' package but it happens. I have a bus depot 15 minutes from my house so shipping and receiving items isn't too bad. I have dealt with other sellers and buyers who lived hours from a bus depot so GH package was not a viable option for them.

Just realized that my recently acquired project did not include the tail wheel wood 'mounting bracket'. I guess the previous owner had intended to go with the static tail wheel. I scrubbed the manual and parts list and see no reference to this bracket. Wondering if anyone can share a part #? Did this part come with the TF kit or was it Robart supplied? If not able to source, does anyone have detailed dimensions of the wood parts and angles to recreate?

Really appreciate all of the help!

Cheers

Retracts available from Tower (main and tail), and Robart electric conversion available directly from Robart as well.

...and the Robart main landing gear are available as well (saw them on eBay). Also note that Robart offers the electric conversion for these gear. In fact, I just had mine converted.

Cheers

Well, looks like we're on a roll...

Does anyone have one for sale new in box that they could ship?
Or if you are in Ontario, Canada, we can arrange a pick-up.
Thanks,

Demetri

Hi,

I have a Staggerwing with Evo735 mounted I would part company with. It has not been completed. I bought it partially built from someone else and just have not had time to finish it. As far as I got was to remove most of the internal structure to help lighten it up for the Evo735. You can see some pictures in message #1747. I would let everything go for $1300.00. I prefer not to ship but could if you are willing to pay actual shipping cost. The plane is located near Denver. The Evo has an exhaust ring as well as some spare tail surfaces and wing panels. If anyone is interested I will talley all the parts and put up a picture of the lot.

Joel
