Default RE: Ultra Stick 60 with Saito 72

Hey, do you guys think an OS120ax would be too heavy for the 60 size Ultrastick? I was looking at what two stroke to install and while I like the looks of the new OS95ax, I can't get over the fact that it costs 10 dollars MORE than the 120ax. Nice to know it will fly with the lighter saitos on it as well. I'm guessing I'd have to move the servos to the tail to offset the weight of a heavier OS two stroke up front?

the 120 will be too heavy. all ultra sticks but the 120lite have balance issues. i have a 100 saito on mine and added 3ozs to the tail. the 100 will pull it unlimited vertical no problem

while a 120 AX or Saito 125 is way over powering for a Ultra Stick 60, it can be done

The more normal top power for this plane is the 91 - 100 size power plants

Any plane you build or assemble has the potential balance problems and must be accomodated at assembly
