Did the TFGS P-51 ARC, with glass , paint , Etc... a great flyer.....However, the fake engine exhaust, in spite of shimming and engineering, look terrible, as they are applied to the glass cowl, and have now vibrated loose...,,On the new kit I am assembling, I'm wondering if anyone has just built the top cowl extension from balsa blocks, and a plywood spinner ring, much as the kit build is made, then cutting the provided glass cowl to fit as the lower. This would also give an opportunity to raise the top and prop spinner into a more scale profile.. If any reader has made this change, I would appreciate your input...thanks
