Default showtime 50 mount issue

Just got a showtime 50. Nice plane, its replacing a Reactor that was a real pile. Anyway, I am having a mount issue on assembly and was wondering if anyone else has had an issue? I have a 55AX going into it and also tried an evolution 52 and neither will fit without having the muffler contact the side of the moulded muffler tunnel at the bottom of the firewall. The mounts blind nuts are preinstalled in the firewall and are boxed in by the framing behind them so they are not easily removed, relocating them would have been my first choice but thats not easily done. Instead I made two brass shims from K&S brass stock for the left side mount and shaved the other side mount down with a flat file the same amount. This allowed me to rotate the engine slightly ( about 3/16 of an inch ) and get the muffler to actually find its way into the muffler tunnel but it still hits so I guess I will add another shim or two on top of the two I already installed and shave the other mount a little more to match.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. Too bad, its been a real pain in the butt and it seems to be a really nice airplane. Much better construction than the Reactor other than this mount issue.
