Well, not flown yet [:'(]
One of the tail servos came defective and I'm still waiting for the replacement. Living in Mexico this things take around a month.[:@]
Time is the fuel of idle hands
Here's my favorite plane for the last 3+ years. Its a Kyosho Super Stearman 40 with a Saito 72. I was going to retire it and start fresh, but it's been discontinued, so I guess i'll fly it for another 3 years. I could fly this thing all day every day... What a blast ! I also have a Cessna 182 and a 81" J3 Cub, but they just don't compare on the fun scale...
Have you hugged your RC Planes today ?
Hi all there!!!
Greetings from Athens!
I am just finishing my Venus 40 and i took some "update" pics of my project.
everything when really good.
I have to let you know though that the pushrod of the rudder servo interferce with the wing bolt.
I mounted the rudder servo in the position the manual suggests.
I guess that i have to reinstall it.
i used Dubro Large super strength servo arms in all the servos except the throtttle servo that is not installed yet,
in the position it should.
I haven't yet mounted my OS 70FS SURPASS....so....
as you can see on one pic,
i placed some epoxy ( 5min ),
on all the horns to secure them.
I also used the Greatplanes charge jack-switch.
Servos are S3004 all around except throttle that's an S3003.
Receiver is an R168DF dual conversion.
I didn't install the wheel pants ,
but i will after the maiden.
the pilot i chose is a Slimline pilot bought from TH.
Wish that the above help a bit.....
here is my beauty donated to me by members here on RCU http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5175797/tm.htm It is a funstar 3D with a tt pro 46 and all s3151 servos.
tell me sth!

Hey Guys and Gals,
Ive been out of RC Planes for about 5 or 6 years and want to get back in. During my time away from RC I earned my own private pilot wings and currently fly a Cessna 172 in SOCAL. Now to the point, i have a 6 channel radio and a 60 OS motor. I want to purchase an aircraft that is realistic looking and possibly with retracts or flaps. Ive seen the 182 and warbirds but i cant make up my decsion. What directions do you think i should go considering my status. O Yeah, it would obvisouly be and ARF.
Here is one more for the collection.
This is my Seagull Extra 300s .60 size with a . 61 Lincoln "Redhead" engine. All of the radio equipment is futaba and a Hydri-max 6v battery for the six servo setup.
They won't grow if you plant 'em that deep....
I have several.
Great Planes UCD .46 w/ Saito 1.00 (AWESOME!!!!)
Lanier 30% Edge 540 w/ ZDZ 80 (Discontinued)
Hanger 9 Extra 330S w/ ZDZ 80 (Using same ZDZ that was in this plane in the Edge. My H9 Extra bit the dust about a year ago. )
Yellow Aircraft Sukhoi 1.20 w/ Saito 1.80
E-flite Mini Funtana w/ Himax 2025 (Just lost this one Sunday due to reversed Ailerons. Great flying plane. Hope to have another. )
Stinger .40 w/ OS 70 Surpass (This is one ot the original 3 prototype Stinger 40's, and I got one!!!!! Great flying plane! This one isn't an ARF, but there is an ARF of it out now, I think.)
Pictures are of my Mini Funtana, my UCD and my Stinger.

For me, it has to be my GP Wagstaff Extra 300. Truely a 'Great Plane'.
Gary P. / use Steel Powder for ballast not lead. PM me for more information.
My original 87" EF Yak..
Welcome to NJ...Where fun comes to die.
So far my all time favorite is the GP Super Stearman.
Since I haven't seen a D model VQ bird in here yet, I'll add mine to the pile. Great flier, she does just what I ask her to with no complaints or sass. With an OS 46 there is power to spare, but not enough to get me into trouble or too out of scale in performance. I couln't ask for more from a plane for what she cost me. I have a second that I'm going to do a different color scheme with (Miss Marilyn II), may experiment with Flight Metal, install a tail-wheel retract and detail out the cockpit. Or not, time will tell.
You can do it your own way- if its done just how I say
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb
Here's my almost finished Venus 40!
I must mount the cowl!
Wish me good luck on the maiden!
My Yellow F-15 ARF,,,, P-120,,, and my flying buddy

Make the unexpected expected?
I think these are good looking and are great fliers. The Stearman had a Magnum 70 FS and balanced perfectly without additional nose weight. One day after coming to the bottom of a loop, the plane went into a dive and the throttle opened up. After digging the engine out of the dirt and collecting the splinters, I could not find the cause of the malfunction. The battery was even properly charged. Too bad it is no longer available. The Sundancer has a YS 63 and also balanced perfectly. It flies nicely.
GP seawind arf. Saito 82 for power, it can fly of land and water, mechanical retracts and a retractable water rudder which were mods. Its a pretty fast airframe, about as clean as you'll get for a seaplane.
80in no name CAP 232 from hobby people with a moki 2.10.I also have a Hanger 9 AT-6 with a saito 100.
mmm. just wondering if the seaplane there has enough room for a video camcorder up front?? about 3.5" cube
How does it fly your AT-6?
What engine do you have?
Do you have any more pics?
Or a video?
I love this plane!
My 2 favorite ARF's (at the moment!) are my Patty Wagstaff Extra by Great Planes, powered by a DA 50 and my Monocoupe 90A by Kangke, powered by a Saito 1.70 Radial four stroke.
My Sig Sukhoi- the second one! Fox 2.4 gas. B&B smoke
Here is a Model Tech Formula 3D I flew early in 05 that had a Super Tigre 90 inverted. This was a rocket. Very nice plane to play around with.
"It Ain't Lookin Good"
My AT-6 has a saito 100 in it and it fly's awesome. It needed Robart gear because the stock gear is junk but other than that it's great. No video but here's another pic or two.
Thank you for your pics!
It's so beautiful to see pics of people's rc planes so many thousands of miles away from you!
So kind of you.......
Do you have a direct link to the Robart gear?
