Are you talking about the .60 size? I can't comment on this one but I have one of the older .40 size and man it is one sweet flyer. I don't think you will be disapointed at all.

Don't have the arf but have arc (almost ready to cover). They used to call it the Dragon Lady 60 but most flyers use at least a 90 2 stroke or a 120 4 stroke. A 60 would be a little on the small side. Mine weighs 10.5 lbs and I use a an OS 108 2 stroke with a 16x7 APC prop. Flys with authority.
Yo would probably get better fuel milage with a 4 stroke.
Great looking and a great flying plane.

DragonLady 60
Thanks Guys for the replies. I do have a Saito 91 that was barely broken in on a Hogg Bipe (switched it to a YS 91) sooo, I think I'll see if I can find one at a bargin at the Perry Ga. sawp show, if not I will order one when I get back. Love the looks of this aircraft! TeePee

RE: Dragon Lady
I have a model Tech 60 size ARF dragon Lady. I run a Zenoah G-23 and it flies great. They are a heavy plane to start with. so a G23 is just right for balance and power.

I have the Dragon Lady ARF 60 assembled it just over a year ago, power is
a Magnum 91 2 stroke motor turning a 14-8 prop, real sweet flying airplane
looks great in the air. Mine was on the nose-heavy side, built a weight box in the
bottom aft of fuselage just forward of the tail wheel mount. If you are looking for
a great looking model that resembles a nostalgic looking home built this is the
plane for you, if you are looking for a fully aerobatic speed demon, forget it,
this baby is a relaxing flying airplane, although with the Magnum 91 in her she
has good verticle and can hold a knife edge pretty good at about 3/4 throttle to
full throttle and loops and rolls are sweet & gracefull. Everyone that sees her fly
can't get over how great the plane looks in the air. You will definately enjoy her.

Wow, a 5 year old post, brought back to life! Not a record, but not something you see every day.
One of our club members thinned his hangar by donating some VERY nice planes to the club, for a raffle. I bought 5 raffle tickets, put one in each of 5 boxes, won two. One was his Dragon Lady - complete with servos, receiver and an OS 120 fourstroke. I had to replace the battery and do some other repair work, but flew it a few times this summer.
Best dollar I ever spent!

oh, some of the club members put 10 to 20 tickets in the Dragon Lady box, and they're not speaking to me much...

RE: DragonLady 60
I'm using a YS 1.20 NC in front of my Dragon Lady. Its my favorite airplane. Its my second one.
The first one I had an ASP 1.08 on it, flew okay, but the YS 1.20 takes this great plane all over the sky and as high as I want it.
