    Yes I put it on the tip and about mid wing.That was the thickes place and the weight fix good.I use 3 of the little sqares I don't know just how much that is but it wasn't much.I piled the cover back and glued it in and ironed it back down it looks like noughting was ever done too it.It is very enporten too me too ( lad Balance ) my plane.They takeoff better and land better for me I think.It just might be me when one side of the plane lift off befor the other I think there is some Balance isshoe.Hope this helps .

    Doing mine fired it up yesterday with the Saito 125 getting everything done around cowl is aggravating. The muffler, neddle valve ext., glow plug very hard to get to with the motor inverted. Guess onboard glow will be needed. Just don't want to have to deal with trying to get a glow stick on in this position. Wing did not fit with the fuel tank. And strapping it down put some extra wood to hold tie straps but pulled to hard now have to repair that lol. The Saito running on the ground felt as if it had enough to pull this plane apart. Actually felt more tork than it seems my 180 has on Sundowner. Raining here this morning and doing Dirt Work for a living I will be able to work on it some. Need to get onboard glow but LHS is closed on Mondays here and that stinks. All the guys say they would like for them to open on Monday so they can fix there flying from the weekends lol. Will be a week or so before I get to maiden it going to see Beach Boys comming this weekend at a Casino so either way losing money lol. Granbury Tx.

    getting amazing if you shop on price... if you want any power then you need to buy one of the other 26s on the market that actually make some.

    For those of you wondering... compare the pics with the LS Pro and the HH T engines out there. The 50cc twin turns a 22x8 Xoar 600-800 rpm lower than majority of the market. The 100cc twin is just as bad.

    All comes back to you get what you pay for.

    Around 80% of the power at about 50% (or less) of the price. Some may be willing to make that trade. At some of the presentations I make, I ask people which is better: a Mont Blanc pen or a Bic Stic. Haven't come up with a correct answer yet.

    I don't think the power is that high is it? 800 rpms on a 22x8 Xoar is a big loss in power on the 50 twin. Maybe 70% power.. Idon't know hard to say really.

    26 is going to be worse overall simply because it's a fine line between brick and having a bit of fun in most planes taht will take a 26 outside of like a 110 rascal or a high wing plane.

    Anyone who is looking for performance is not going to be happy period. It's like comparing a Kia to a Pointac Grand Prix or something of that sort.

    HI guys I have A 26 Toro that pulled my 120 four Star with ease and put out A good strem of smoke when I turned it on.I had A 26 Homelite that pulled my 120 gaint stick just fine and I had smoke in it too that worked well.I am like sinergy and I would go with the motors that I know about.The carb in the back of the motor I think would add more weight too the nose because you have too set it out from the firewall more.That is only my apinion.Sorry about the spelling.I can pull A 18-6 prop at 7800 on my Toro and I can pull A 17-6 at 8400 on the homelite and that will pull about any plane in that size of 120 planes.The homey and Toro weights about 3 lbs A peice and that is something else too look at.You can get electronic exn,and save A lot of weight.It look too me like there is A lot more companys trying too get in too makeing RC motors that the prices has came down A bit.

    I was just looking at kW vrs kW of these vrs Roto and ZDZ and the like. Where are you finding prop sizes and RPM's for these (I guess we will call them SV's)? I haven't seen them anywhere.

    Rgoldythe prop size and RPM is what I was runnig on my motors.These were the props I was running and this was the RPM the motors was putting out.I live in Oklahoma if that has anything too do with it.

    Now compare that to http://www.brillelli.com/brillelli_engines_008.htm yes more money.. but Brillelli's weight is RTF including EI, muffler, standoffs, etc. Also compare the 1200 more rpms.



    Now I have to be honest.. I am recently part of Team Brillelli... but I have been flying the engines for 2 years on my own dime and they are great with amazing customer service. I don't have my hands on the 26 yet.. but I do know that 9600 was first tank of gas and 2nd tank it was at 9900 on the same prop. Scott likes to use rpm numbers from a brand new engine so there is no hassles. He is as honest as they get and why I have used the old 26, a couple of 46s, and a 60 (see Cap in my avatar).

    I will have a 26 soon for another plane I am working on so I wil be more informed once I play with it myself.. but Scott has told me a lot about the 26 since before it was public so I know the power is def. there

    Well to get back on subject here a little bit. lol What are the most problematic features of the Frenzy 100ARF I have sent Horizon an e-mail and they responded very quickly which they always do (great customer oriented company). They have told me that they have had no complaints on this plane. I had told them about wheel pants, (not fitting) the gap between the fuse and wing. The wing dowel holes not fitting, The fuel tank not letting the wings come down into place. Just some of my experiences and they seem to be some of the concerns of some of the folks replying to this thread. Maybe if some of you would also send them an e-mail they might get the plane fixed properly as they said they would check into the items i listed. And for sure they will being the fine Company they are. Just thought I would let some of you know they are interested in your opinions of this plane as they stated to me. I told them to check out RC Universe and there were several opinons posted here. Thanks.

    Update on wings---
    Came home the other day and there was a box in front of the door and inside was......hold it.........a set of wings!!!! I wasn't really sure what to do with them other than run around the yard making little buzzy sounds with them but I called H9 and they said they screwed up and was sending me a new plane. I would have rather had the money but I guess I have something.

    Had maiden flight this afternoon just before dark. The plane flew great couple clicks to the ailerons and it was right on. Did not do anything fancy (can't) couple rolls and one big loop, and just ran it around in big ole circle mainly. Landed great with just a smidgen of power. Hate the way the 180 fits in it with the glow plug being on the bottom but got it going. At the end of the flight realised I had not taken ignitor off of plug so maybe it needs a smidgen of nose weight lol. Well had a very good flight though and brought it home same as when it left. And that is very good for me. I may have been self concious about trying to get the ignitor off with it running lol.

    Update-
    H9 has sent me a new plane to replace the one with the folding wing option. I've lost excitement for this airplane-just me, nothing against the plane. If anybody is interested, I have a new plane in the box, an extra set of wings and an extra cowl. Those interested in any or all will figure out how to get a hold of me.

    Has anyone tried this plane with a Saito 100? The box says it will fly with a .91-1.25 4 stroke. I have the engine and was just wondering.

    I'm looking at buying one as well and would like to here the same feedback around engine size and flying charateristics. Also, any watchout during the build. I am thinking about putting in a Magnum 120 fs in mind, eventhough the box say 125 for the upper end on a fs.

    I have been reading this thread for a few weeks. The information on the CG was nice to find out before my first flight. I ended up with a CG of 5.5 inches back and the plane flew perfect. On the first flight I just had a few clicks of trim. The only thing that I noticed was that I needed a little more power. My first flight was using a 7S battery until I could assemble the 9S pack that was needed. Since I was using lower voltage I used a smaller prop (16x6 APC) to keep the current in acceptable limits for the motor. With the lower power the flight performance was not like a 3D plane, But I was able to do loops, rolls, knife edges, and inverted flight. This plane flew like it was on rails. My flying field is usually very windy, and the wind did bother it much.
    Once I was able to get the 9S pack in the plane I was able to everything that my Tribute did. The Frenzy was not as fast on some of the tricks but it still did them. I was able to do knife edge loops just fine (with the 9S not the 7S battery). The loops were not as tight as the tribute, but the plane does them just fine. I think that the frenzy handles the high alpha flying better than the tribute (Frenzy is more stable).
    If you noticed I am comparing this plane to the tribute. I enjoyed flying the tribute alot but, I got sick and tried of the fuselage breaking (breaking either behind or just in front of the wing) during some high speed snap flying. So I got the frenzy to replace it, and decided to try the large electric systems.
    My current set-up for the frenzy is using the E-flight 110 out runner electric motor running a custom configured Common Sense 9S2P 4000maH battery, through a Common Sense Z90 PRO ESC. The prop that I now use is a 17x10E APC. I used the new JR DS8717 Heli servos for the control surfaces. The servos that I selected use alot of current and the ESC doesn't have a BEC, so I am running a Common Sense XBEC to power the servos and reciever. The JR DS8717 are perfect for this plane! They are very smooth, center perfect every time, and the response (speed) is great using 6V. I just had to trim the servo openings a small amount to get them to fit.
    I will try to post some pictures and videos of the first two flights soon.

    Are folks using a reversing servo for the elevators half to function or just a Y harness? My concern is not finding two servos that travel the same. Any one finding problems with this, and if so how did you overcome?

    Regular Y harness won't work (unless you are using digital servos and programmed one backwards). Either a reversing Y harness (popular) or a computerized radio system and have the one side follow at a -100%. As I am sitting here typing this I am thinking that Futaba and Tower servos run backwards from each other-I think I remember that biting me in the butt one day. Maybe others know for sure.

    This conversation really interests me, I have always struggled setting up dual elevator servos. I use a 9CAP so I can program it in, but it always seems off. If you match them perfectly on high rate, they are always off on low rates and vice versa. Is there a link to a page or thread on what the proper technique to set up dual elevators is?
