Default Seagull Yak Cowl

How much space is required between the back of the propeller and front of the cowl?? I didn't see any measurement in the manual. Any tricks to cutting out the holes in the cowl??

I didn't see any measurements for the cowl. It looks like it might overlap about 1/2 inch but nothing solid. Let's say it as an XYZ arf with a cowl, how far should it be from the back of the prop, 1"?? More??
