Default Just bought a Seagull Extra 260, 180

Garage clearout, new with some hangar rash, $50. I couldnt pass it up!

However it is missing all the hardware

Anyone know of a supplier that sells it all in 1 kit? I would think a lot of the hardware is the same for many brands of imac type aircraft.
Do you suggest I contact seagull for this or is there better options?

Its also missing the wing joiner tube...Ill need that too

Im not a newb to aircraft, however it my first large scale airplane

Thanks!

There are wing tube suppliers on line. You just need an accurate measurement. As far as the hardware. Seagull is a decent plane but their hardware was a weak point. RTL Fasteners can get you good quality stuff for a decent price. You may have to buy more than you need but still come out cheaper than buying bits and pieces at many places.

Yea Seagull quoted me $6 for the hardware and that does seem rather cheap! And 6 times that for shipping!
So I think Ill go sullivan or Dubro at minimum.

I have sourced everything except the linkage rods. I need 2 of each, 146mm/6inches, 45mm/2inches, 3mm or 4/40. I would like them turnbuckle style, with the molded in nut for adjustment
Im pretty sure the Hanger 9 30cc stick wing tube will work but have yet to verify

Thanks all!

Race Day Quads sells 12” lengths of Stainless Steel 4/40 rods, I just recently used them on my 30cc Giles G-202 by cutting the lengths I needed for all my linkages, it was easy to do and worked out great.
Here is a couple pictures of it before and after several flights.

For high stress pushrods, carbon fiber tubing over threaded rod works great, is no heavier than just the threaded rod.....
