Seagull Ultimate gas conversion...Who's doing one?
Hello everyone,
Well I have been flying the ultimate with a saito 125 installed. It flew great with the 125 but I have decided to put a BCMA 26cc engine on it and see what she will do(or wont do...LOL). Mostly an experiment to see if it can be done and how it will fly.
I would like to hear from those of you who have tried or thought about going gas with this plane and see some pictures of your conversions.
Here are a few pictures of mine so far. Lots more to do since I just started on it. I will post more pics. as it progresses.

You might want to rethink the fueler idea with a gasser. I had problems with glow and fuelers but with a gas carb sucking the fuel and Tygon fuel lines they were an absolute nightmare. I gave up on them 10 years ago and went to fuel dots and haven't looked back since.

Reason I ask is I havent experienced any issues with them yet, but I have only been using them with glow fuel.
