Default Hangar 9 40 Size Piper Pawnee!!!

I ran across this on the Horizon Hobby website. For all you
Crop Duster lovers! This does not look too bad. Typical with
New releases it wont be available for months!

Must be the second batch they are waiting for.
My LHS had one about 2 weeks ago. It's really nice looking.

Cool. I've seen the smaller electric version. This one should be really nice with a 4-stroke on it.

I've never heard of it until today
on the cropduster thread.
I've got a broke in Saito .72
ready to go in it. Now we've
actually got two decent sized
ARF's on the market....this one
and RC Guys Cessna 188 Agwagon.

All I can say is Wow!!!Hanger 9 does it again with a beautiful scale model of a classic plane.I grew up in the south watching these babies fly over cotton fields!May have to have one of these in my hanger.

That plane really looks nice. It would be something really different to fly. I wonder how it flys, any ideas?

Looks like a great plane. Time to start saving some $$ for it. Looks like it has room for some mods (i.e. water tank for actaully spraying). I wonder when it will hit my hobby shop? I have a 80 FS that would fit nicely for scale speed.

What I don't understand is...how did Meesh get one so quickly, about now three weeks ago no less! I didn't hear a whisper of it in the flyers, the website or my LHS. First batch? What first batch?? Are we living under a rock or does Meesh's LHS sit right next to the Horizon headquarters? Confused, someone explain, please.[sm=confused.gif]

Yeah I know the feeling. I preordered my RC Guys Cessna Agwagon a month ago and I think I'll be getting this one too. It looks awesome. Oh well, no groceries again this month!!!

This plane will be great to complement my Kyosho AgWagon ... I still find the trims a little too trendy.

Depending on the loading it should fly like a low wing J-3

I bet it'll fly a lot like a Great Planes Slow Poke. I may consider it.

A real one flies about the same as a super cub . It is a real floater with flaps. Will turn on a dime and give you 9 cents change.

I am definetly getting on. As soon as July comes. Man its way too long to wait. I have always wanted a crop duster(Grumman Agcat), but a pawnee is fine with me.

I just finished an Eflite Pawnee coverted to glow (OS .25), that was a job, but it is done. Hopefully, my customer wil lbe happy with it. I have made a reservation on my Big Pawnee at my LHS. Expect it in mid to late Feb. I need a new knock around plane in addition to my wartbirds.

Still waiting for my Eflite Pawnee. I went with the standard sized battery (not the one for $150![X(]) and the 15 sized motor. It flies really well seeing the video posted on Horizon website.

I think the guy that saw one at his local HS might have seen the smaller version. The man that works at the local store here has one put together and later today if the wind is not to bad i am sure he will fly it. I don't know for sure the size of it but by sight it is fairly small. Or the one he has put together is anyway. It is cool looking though. I myself might have to have the 60 size one. What motor do you guys think will pull it. I have 3-.46 size one OS 60 all run great alot better than what they were in lol. I love it crash one and then try to decide what to put the electronics and motor on NEXT. Good day and good flying to all that are able to go fly today. I gots to be thru by HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS game rofl. I just jinxed em rofl.

PA Ben - that's why they make other colors! I think that a little research and some time, the new Pawnee can be a really scale plane
