It looks like a Christian Eagle to me. Not knowing the dimensions I have no idea which kit or ARF it might be. Maybe someone has a foamie out.

If it's foam wings/fuse using torque rods for ailerons .....Byron. Same wing but different fuse as the Pitts. Owned both & still fly the Pitts.

It's a byron. I have 2 of them, one has been flying for years, and the other is just barely started.

Harry tell me about your Byron Eagle, I have one that I am going to be building soon. I am going to make it electric so I know I'm in for a challenge. I have read a few reveiws on it and while most are good some say it's a pig and doesn't respond well, or is very hard to make fly smooth. What is your take on it's flying
Did you glass yours or just cover it and where did you end up with AUW
I am really excited about getting started on the build, Just trying to absorb as much info on it as I can before I get started

Well AJ, I covered the old one with econocote. This is not the most robust covering but it has served me well over the years. If you glass it, it may well be a "pig" unless you use a fairly powerful gas engine. I fly mine on an OS BGX 3500 and although not unlimited vertical, it flies well at around 6000' alt. Been in R/C for 39 years and have never wieghed a model airplane so don't know the AUW. It flies scale-like and response is in how you set it up (control throws, CG, etc.). I really don't know anything about electric, but I wish you the best of luck with your conversion.
