I used the metal strap and slipped the wire into a small piece of fuel tubing. Used lite wheels for the mains to keep the weight down.

Nice idea using Micro servos and I have done the arm on the mount with link to throttle arm. Very easy set up. 30 seems to be fine and gets better as it breaks in.

SW 15 % fuel APC 9/6 prop.

Thanks Guys For the Tips....
Fourstroke..... What I mean about the black plastic part
is that is the part the the tail wire goes through
and mounts to the bottom of the fuse... mine
wants to be about a 1/8 inch to high.. I might have
to add a piece of light ply to fill in the gap
then screw it on I guess.. It also looks that
If I drill carefully I could go into the rudder
with the wire.
Again thanks Buys for the input!

Jeff[img] [/img] sorry , there are
only supposed to be 3 pictures. They did
not show on the first post so I reloaded them

Now I see. Looks like you might have a wrong tail wheel bracket. I would do just as you thought, add a small filler block underneath the mount to give you the clearance. Keep it simple. You won't see it in the air.

Mine had the off set. Different style but the same install. I have done the filler on other planes though and it is fine.

mine is different. the issue is that you may have mounted your rudder slightly lower than you need to. make sure you get good clearance from the top of the rudder. my most recent cub (the one in the pictures is my old cub) i had to sand and recover the top of the stab so that the rudder clears easily.

doesn't matter, though. i think the filler is fine.

drilling a hole through the thin rudder, on the other hand, isn't a great idea :-) i like the way they did it. not "scale" but hey, this is suppose to be fun, right?
