I'm glad to hear you're lov'n them!
In regards to engine choice, anything in the 40cc range and/or 1.80 FS range will haul the craft around magnificently![8D]

Mine arrived also. I started a build thread for those of us who are going to be completing the kit over the next few weeks. It would be great to share some ideas and tips along the way.

RE: KMP Pilatus PC21 - PICS *NEW RELEASE*
Boy, I fell in love with this plane the moment I saw it.
I was wondering if there will be an after market cockpit for this particular model. I know there is a company that does them, saw them at Toledo last year and they had one for the Skyraider but the name escapes me now. From first looks my impression is that the cockpit is alright but looks a little cheap. Especially the way some of the photos show the thin plastic wrinkled. With so much of the cockpit visible, more detail would really make this one a winner.
Also, anyone know where I can get one now with retracts?
Thanks,
Chuck B.

RE: KMP Pilatus PC21 - PICS *NEW RELEASE*
Greetings,
Called KMP today with several questions about this new model and they were very helpful. My main question was regarding the cockpit. Speaking only for myself, I would want a more detailed cockpit over the one that comes with the airplane. I was told that Dyamic Balsa, a maker of scale cockpits, is working on one for the Pilatus. I visited their booth at Toledo last year and they turn out a fantastic product. They had a display of the pit made for the KMP Skyraider. Gonna plop down a deposit now and watch this thread closely.
Also, anyone have experience with the RCGF gas engines by KMP? That was suggested as a good match and fit for the airplane.
