Default servo mounting blocks, epoxy or wood glue?

Just a simple poll what do you use or like better when mounting servo blocks for hidden servos. Do you like/use wood glue or epoxy?

I use epoxy. I think it's stronger, and will fill any small gaps much better than "wood glue". I guess you mean Tight Bond or some other Aliphatic Resin glue.

I'm not sure I would use 30 minute epoxy, probably 5 minute. for two glue joints like the cover in the manual.

Generally I use epoxy for these. I have also been successful with thick CA but I did reinforced those with a small screw just to be on the safe side.

I think epoxy might be overkill, so that's what I use

I'm with you gaRCfield.. Better to be safe than sorry. If the plans call for a size 47 to 50 motor, go to the 60 size.. Too much horespower is ,,just right !!!!!!

Any 30-60 min epoxy will soax well into the wood and hold well, use a light amount if you are particular about weight. As for wood glue it is SUPER STRONG. When I was building guitars we use that for the guitar neck, the amount of force from the strings is over 100 lbs. Wood glue is very good IF you ensure that there is sufficient surface area and the surfaces are level.

I prefer epoxy as its fast to use, for smaller planes like 40 sized ones, 5 min exopy has yet to fail me.
