ARF Manufactures - Who are they?
I thought it might be interesting to gather up a listing of all of the various ARF manufactures out their, either in China, Vietnam, Taiwan or other places. In fact I believe there are a few manufactures in eastern Europe. Currently I'm "assembling" a S2G Pilatus Porter from Czech Republic. Sometimes finding their websites is a bit challenging. So if you know of any manufactures out there list their web address and country of origin. I would imagine most will be from China. Sometimes, this might be of help to guys out there who are looking for a particular plane/parts that no longer being imported. So if your interested post what you've found.
Star Wei Fly - Zhuhai, China
http://starweifly.com/
(Looks like some of the stuff that Nitroplanes and their sister sites sell)
Aero Airplane - China
http://www.aeroairplane.com/
(Looks like some of the stuff that Nitroplanes and their sister sites sell)
China Model Productions
http://www.cmpairplane.com/
From what I've read, I think some other manufactures are copying some of their designs.

RE: ARF Manufactures - Who are they?
Good thread but don't believe everything you read
A lot of the ACTUAL manufacturers don't have websites. They make on behalf of other companies. Some of the websites listed don't actually manufacture in house - they contract out to thier suppliers. at other times, a manufacturer will design a plane then sell it to the big sellers.
I notice that ther are some comments along the lines of "Looks like the stuff that XXXXX sells). In many cases that is because they "borrow" photos from each other. Eg - I have lost count of how many of the sites have the Aeroworks Yak picture on it.

Good Point!
I was looking at seagull's website and they have some new 70 and 78 inch Super Decathlon's hopefully Horizon will import these!
I came across what I think use to be some of the older Hangar 9 ARF's
Minicraft - Thailand - The site is in Thai, but you can poke around and see some of the planes the at Hangar 9 use to market!

RE: ARF Manufactures - Who are they?
I actually thought you did a good job ,and I will tell you why .The point about borrowing photos is 100% correct and many do use Byron originals , Hanger 9 ect photos .
However many of the non manufactures use 'show rooms" both virtual and real , so if you visit yuo may find that all of the above are actually three big suppliers being filtered thru many small distributors .
On the list above I know that CMP , Flymodels and Willshobbys have there own facilities .
There is a distinctive differance between Flymodels and CMP planes .The very long hellcat post used by Luke Zolner was a flymodels hellcat . While Luke turned it into a master piece the original kit is weaker and cheaper then a CMP .I have one new in box waiting to be built . Nitro MOdels and the 10 other names they use have both flymodels and CMP .They use to carry a Flymodels P40 that was the same specs as the CMP but all green top and bottom vs the real CMP that has a gray bottom .
If yuo look at the AT6 texans , you can see some remenance of the Flymodels version on the Nitro RC site vs the CMP versions .
I know in my business when we visit China we go to the factory and never the showroom and we look for new construction in the factory because yes they will build an office to make it look more professional then it really is , they will move buildings to beat a complianace regulation ect ect .
If you start to search and play on ebay , you will be amazed all the direct from China sellers that are reaching out to us as US consumers that supply big USA hobby guys like Hobby Lobby . Keep looking especially in 4Q when they are getting ready to shut down for CNY and they want to move goods .

Another one:
Much like pasontech above, 3P seems to distribute the same models that UltraRC used to sell here in the States:
http://www.3p-model.com/en/Default.aspx
On lots of these sites, there is no method of purchasing directly from them.
