For $35 more you can get the Tower Trainer RTF; pretty similar plane, but you get a TH .46 engine with the (standard?) low end needle instead of the OS .40 with air bleed.
Kind of a tough call - supposedly the (TH) low end needle is easier, especially for beginners, but you've got TH engine vs OS engine. The .46 should have a bunch more power though...

It's amazing that the color makes such a big difference in price. They must not be selling many
of the orange compared to the blue or red versions, thus the $40 - $60 price differences.
Bad timing for me, BROKE< BROKE <BROKE![sm=punching.gif] Look like a great deal, enjoy!

RE: Hobbico Superstar On Sale At Tower
We had a new pilot join our club and he bought the Tower RTF. The final assmbly must have been done by someone with a huge hangover.
2 servo horn screws were missing. The new pilot did not notice this (how would he know screws should be here?) and it was caught in preflight inspection. We took screws out of my plane and put them in his (I have extras at home).
The elevator and rudder pushrods were very short. I am guessing the servo tray was probably mounted wrong. The clevises had to be unscrewed a lot to get the surfaces straight. The instructor who was helping him recommended buying new pushrods.
This obviously can happen with any RTF. The one time I've ever seen it happened to be a Tower trainer.
