Default 4* 120

I'm looking for setup info for installing a G26. Does anyone have pictures etc. Any advice on standoffs or mufflers?

Thanks

I'm in the process of finishing a Flyboy with a Zenoah G26. What are you putting your G26 in? I followed the plans but had to make several modifications. The throttle was the biggest issue. Now my issue is the cowl which turns out to be plastic. I'm afraid the heat from the engine may be to much for the plastic. I can take pictures but I'm not sur how to post them here.

The only issue you should have is the cowl. On my Fly babay I had to cut quite a bit of the cowl away to make room for the muffler and carb.
If you need the throttle linkage you can get it from B&B Specialties 574-277-0499

I'm afraid I may have to cut the side boards off and mount it like a stick. The evolution 26GT would fit inside but it's quite abit more money and lower top end rpm.

The Four Star has Cheek cowls. Most people cut them off when using the gas engine

Thats what I've kinda come up with to.
I really wanted to preserve the lines. I wonder if I could build up some kinda of a cowl after the engine's installed.
Thanks

They look pretty good with just the engine out front.

They fly very well with the cheeks gone

Thanks for all your replys. I've gone back and forth with the engine selection all I know right now is it will be a gas. Nitro's already over $30 gallon an the bigger nitro's are thirsty.

That muffler will get mighty hot. It may burn a little more clearance around the edges?
