Getting ready to order one of these with the DLE 55. Can you fit a cannister muffler in the fuse? Thanks

What happened to PACO? I'm fixing to order this same plane with the DLE combo, but I would love to hear from someone that has actually flown this plane.

We have a thread going on for an electric conversion of the plane. One user has already completed and flown it numerous times. Search "Peak Pitts Conversion" if interested on RCGroups.

Flew it until I crashed it, then ordered another one. Go for it.

Maverickma,

I believe I saw this plane fly on youtube. I was impressed.

HDsoar,

How many flights on it before you crashed it? Did you find out what the cause of the crash was?

Thanks for the replies!

Hdsoar,

Thanks, Did you order from peak models? I'm not sure whether to order from peak(New Zealand) or cyclone(China).

I have bought several planes from peak. No experience with cyclone.

Cyclone's plane is the same from what I could tell when researching the planes....but the Cyclone one comes with flying (wing) wires. The Peak only comes with tail wires...the reason I went with the Peak. Did not want to deal with wing wires at the field. To me the plane seems stout enough without wing wires.

I agree with the flying wires being a pain. Thank you both for helping me make up my mind!

You have to email them for a price which is also annoying. Peak has the best price, just no color selection, but they are very fast in responding to emails.

Whats the word on the DLE 55 that Peak models is selling as a combo with this plane. I hear that there are many knockoffs of the DLE 55. Is this engine that Peak models sells as the DLE 55 the real deal? Thanks
