Vietnam Era Army Aircorp Insisnia
Good day all,
I've finally gave up trying to find Vietnam Era Army Aircorps insignia for a Cessna L-19 Bird Dog. Anyone have any ideas where I can get the decals or at least some decent pictures to make my own? I am taking a GWS E-starter and giving it a "Bird Dog" make over for my first plane and would like to use the proper markings.
Thanks,
Scooter

Just do a search at U,S, Army Aviation Museum You will get a list of places to go to for info. They all stem from the Army Aviation Muesum at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. The L-19 I flew was olive drab with black markings includeing the stars and bars. The Air Force flew L-19's that were painted grey

I also found this site that may be of interest. http://www.warbird-photos.com/forwar...-04/index.html I think I will go with the flat black markings. I'll post a pic when I'm done.
