Seagull PC-9 Prop? (O.S .46 AX)
G'Day all i'm driving about 4 hours soon to my LHS to pick up seagull PC-9, i will be putting an O.S .46 A in it and wondered what prop i should try?
I was thinking along the lines of a 10 X 6 MA or maybe 11 X 5 APC. I'm not after top speed, just reasonably torque and acceleration for a rough grass strip, i also plan on doing a hell of a lot of knife edge flying. I have found APC props to be superior on my seagull boomerang but damn they are ugly and would prefer to use NA screw if possible.
Any suggestions?

I was running the 11x5 apc on mine with the 46 and was quite satisified...not too fast and could pull some good vertical and large outside loops

I have found great results with a 10x7 for speed, and 11x6 for aerobatics.
Props are cheap.......
I like apc, but actually prefer the lighter evolution props from horizon for the smaller nitro stuff. they are woth a try
good luck
