Great Planes Escapade Disaster *UPDATE**
Well for those that remember and are interested in my experience with an elevator failure because of no glue on a Great Planes Escapade here is the update.
I really didn't want another escapade and asked my son to pick a plane from Hanger 9. He didn't see anything that caught his eye and kept saying he wanted another escapade. So a few months later I agree and pack up the receiver to have them check it, and the tail feathers that I cut off the plane. Bax had sent me a PM stating it was okay to cut the tail off so I print a copy and send that as well so there would be no confusion. I also asked for 3 servo cases (bottom) for the 3 damaged servo's from the crash. The OS 46fx that was on the plane appears fine and with it being a used engine anyway I was not to worried about it.
I get a card in the mail stating that my parts for repair are on back order. Fine no problem, it's March here and 2 feet of snow on the ground.
Flash forward to today when I go down to the post office to pick of my parcel from Hobby Services. I get it home and open the box. Inside I find a BRAND NEW SET OF TAIL FEATHERS. I had a really good laugh. I know there are trying to help but someone in Hobby Services never even looked at the paperwork I sent with the tail. It had a picture of the plane ( the one below ) as well as the PM from Bax and a picture of the broken cases that I needed to repair the servo's. Futaba 3004's. No mention of the servo's.
I'd really like to talk to the person that handled my case and ask them how they think putting the tail feathers on the plane in the picture will help it. Sometimes you just have to laugh.

RE: Great Planes Escapade Disaster *UPDATE**
I'm sorry to hear about your model! I'm glad to see you are able to rationalise and laugh a bit - many would not.
I just flew mine for the first time today - is it a time bomb? What do I need to fix?
