Senior Telemaster ARF dihedral braces
I have lost the dihedral braces for my Senior Telemaster ARF. Will someone please post the angle and dimensions? I'd like to make a replacement set.

I have mine right in front of me. AFT spar 6* dihedral, as measured using protractor app on android phone 1/4" thick 1" wide 21" long from upper corners FORWARD. Spar 6* dihedral 5/16" thick 1" tall 38 3/16" long hoping this helps. |

I made a set tonight from poplar purchased at Cheapo Depot. It took about 1.5 hours with all the sanding. I re-sawed a piece of 1/2" to 3/8 making two passes on my table saw. it took a little sanding to get it to fit.
Of course now that I've made a set, I'm sure to find the originals in the next day or so! Will fly tomorrow! Thanks again. |
Exactly as I predicted, I found the braces! They were on top of the fuse of a plane I had stored next to the Telemaster. I must have looked right at them three for four times when searching for them.
Oh well, now I've got a spare set.... Growing old sucks. |
