HELP cutting Hangar 9 Cub 40 1/5 scale cowl for Saito 60t

I have a Hangar 9 Cub 40 1/5 scale and purchased a Saito 90ts and then a Saito 60t. The normal way I usually get a clean cut onto a cowl really does not work with dummy engine sticking out. I can not lay the template flat on the cowl. I have messed up two cowls now and need help. I have reached out to a few people that have a good setup be no response :(...I want to know one of two things.

1. Is there a company that makes a smooth cowl? I saw fiberglassspecialtiesinc. Will reach out to them to see if theirs is a smooth cowl, but are there any others? At this point I would rather find a smooth cowl with no dummy engine on it.
2. Does anyone have a template that will work with the factory H9 cowl with the dummy engine?

Thanks

Ok finally got the cowl cut out. By far the worst job I have ever done even trying to use templates. I am so used to cutting smooth cowls. Well here is the damage :). Still would love to find a smooth cowl that works great with the H9 cub. I ordered one from tower but it was not the right shape.

Depends on how much work you want to do. It would be pretty simple to cut off the section with the dummy cylinders and fill it back in smooth then pull a mold from it. I would be more then happy to walk you through the process.

Thanks but I actually know how to do that but really did not want to go that route.

I still have a semi cut up H9 cowl. I might make a mold later own with that one...but still rather buy one already to go :)
