H9 20cc p51

Has anyone installed vvrc 20cc engine in h9 p51? I was wondering if the pitts muffler hit side of cowl. I installed engine and set pitts muffler off of evolution 20cc on engine so I could cut the cowl and it hits the side, I know it's not the right muffler for engine, it wont even line up to the head. Just wondering if vvrc or dle pitts muffler was thinner where it bolts up at

I would contact Valley View RC and talk to them about the muffler.
