Hobby Lobby Pilot-1 PA-12 Cub 1/4 Scale ARF
 

Anybody have any experience with this model? Or with any of the HobbyLobby Pilot-1 giant scales ARF's?

Iam thinking about purchasing this model and putting a Zenoah G20 or G23 on it, and mounting it on floats.

Big plane on electric. I'm impressed. Looks like it would be fun.

i have the waco its a sweet plane flys so scale .i love it. 25 flights with out aglitch..i use a hobbypartz size 15 monster motor and 40 esc 12 wood prop ..east 10 min on a 3cell 2600

Nice looking planes and I've seen a couple of them fly but you might want to check the price on shipping. I looked at the Stinson 108 and they wanted $250.00 to ship it. Looks like they are trying to recoupe some of their money back since they cut the price about $300.00.

old post, but stumbled onto it and thought I would chime in...

I did a test flight on the PA12 for a fellow in our club, he put an ASP1.60 twin cyl 4 stroke in it and it fit inside the cowl and sounds fantastic...as for the flying, it was a big *****cat, just floats, stall is strait ahead, and the alerons work right down to the stall.
I would fly tank after tank of fuel just flying circuts....anyone who has the ability to fly a trainer can fly this plane with ease (In fact it flys better than some trainers I have flown)
