Autogyro blades

I'm new to autogyros. I'm too cheap to buy a kit. After much research and studying, I'm building an autogyro and have carved the blades from basswood. Now I'm wondering if they are going to be to heavy. (3 @ 2 1/4 x 24 inches each).
