Unless they've changed, they are the same as the Imax chargers. The only complaint I've seen is that the balancing is frequently not as accurate as on higher cost chargers. There are a few threads on getting them DOA and having to deal with expensive return shipping too.

I wouldn't think so> they have alligator clips on the other end (typical setup for power supply lead)

Has anyone had an issue with the fan not turning on? I have one that I hadn't used in a few months and while it seemed to charge OK, the cooling fan would not rotate.

Also, did they offer an adapter for working with ThunderPower batteries?

Thanks,

Bob

Great charger!! I have used one now for 2 years and no problems. For the price I even bought a second one as a back up. Have not found any battery it will not charge from 2s to 6s. Love it.

I was able to cajole my cooling fan into working again (very common problem with these units when I bought mine) but I have mine working again.

In the instruction manual, they reference a USB cable. Has anyone gotten this USB cable? I'm looking for a part number and for the software that goes with it.

Any thoughts on that??

My Accucell 6 arrived today. Good to know it's well regarded.
I looked for a USB cable as well as a temp sensor. I found a sensor but no USBcable.
From the manual:

When it is

selected as an USB port, you can link the

charger to your PC via an optional USB cable.

This can utilize the optional software that can

show you the charge process at PC.

I found a discussion where much of the USB issue is addressed:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1046318

There's a link in there for the software too.

The charger checks the voltage of your battery when you plug it in. That's how it determines what battery you are using. If your battery voltage has been drained to low, the charger may think that it is a 1s battery because of the voltage it is reading. Do you have a meter to check the battery voltage? If the voltage is down around 6 volts you may have to charge it in the NIcad mode to get the voltage up a bit, and then try putting it back on Lipo balance mode.

My cell is in good condition, and any kinf of 2s im putting in charge has the same issue.
Also, as i know, im using all the correct wiring and plugs... here are 2 pictures of my setting.
note that in the Volatage/Cell view, you will see just the volatage of one cell whereas in the general view you can see the 2s config...this is exactelly what i dont understand!??
