Default Tamiya Connector on an ESC

the red wire got pulled out of the female side of the battery connector on my son's evader ext 2 (the side facing the ESC, not facing the battery). can it be put back in, or do I need to replace the connector. if i need to replace the connector, do i just splice the wires together, or do i have to get inside the ESC somehow and replace the whole wire.

Default RE: Tamiya Connector on an ESC

hi, im newish to hobby grade but on my brothers ext his stock (tamiya) connecters melted, so he got dean's connectors, you have to solder them on the wires but they are one of the best connectors, if you get them, get two sets, one for your esc and one for the charger unless you want to use an adapter for the charger. Have a good day, and goodluck.
