12Volt SLA Battery Voltage drop after charging Question
Normally, Can you expect the voltage to drop off slightly on a 12V SLA Battery after Charging?

Not familiar with "SLA" batteries, but the nature of he chemical reaction that occurs when any chemistry is charged dictates a slight drop off when the charge ends. To get a good reading of th final charge state wait at least 30 miutes after charging.

Yes, this is what I'm referring to, I took a reading at 8, 16 and 24 hrs after charge, and the Voltage steadily declined slightly 12.46V, 12.41V & 12.39V; would this be considered normal, I never checked before, I was curious if slight decline in voltage is normal for SLA Batteries.

sounds low 12.6 V after setting from full charge to 12.o V discharged.
watch it for a week if you can iam thinking it's going to be dead high leakage

That's what I was thinking; the battery was given to me used; I wasn't sure if it was any good to use anymore; thought I would charge it up and see if it can be used as a field battery to run my field chargers, may have to break down and buy one.
