If you like to to DIY . I use an old pc power supply and a resistor. It handles like 25 amps. I connect 4 separate chargers to it at the same time ( u have to make power posts from radio shack)and ir doesnt even get warm.

Go on eBay and look for 12 to 15 volt supplies for laptops and/or monitors.
Probably can save yourself some money.
Good Luck,

there's also games console power supplies. xbox360 is quite powerful, there's also a range of ps3 power supplies.
I know the ps3 has the outlet plugs already installed which makes it a bit easier, just plug in banana plug.

That tower one would work fine.
If you want a good ready made one cheaper I know two people at my club using these on an accucell 6, they are 15v 4A which is perfect.
I use a 750W server power supply unit (PSU), but a good second hand PC PSU can put out 5+ amps which is enough for the accucel-6. You can often get them for free. Rexbank's link on how to set them up is great, it's not too hard.

RE: power supply for Turnigy Accucel-6
Hey guys I've got a heap of laptop chargers laying around ( all around 19v) will these do the job or will too much voltage kill the charger? I have some wall ac adapters that are 12v but only 500mah. Any suggestions? cheers.

what about a wall charger AC 12v 500mah ? That will just charge really slow wont it? and If I hook it up to my car battery is that all I have to do? Its not going to overload with volts ? Cheers.

Your charger needs DC voltage , not AC. Most wall chargers aren't regulated and won't be able to power the charger. The laptop power supplies (if measured under 19 volts) are probably regulated good enough to power a charger up to the ps's maximum wattage.
