New Receiver pack question
recently bought a 5 cell NiMh 1600 Mh and after charging the volts measure almost 7 volts but what I don't understand is I have another pack that measures just over 6 volts when it is fully charged. My next question is will the 7 volts damage my rec/servos? or will the voltage quickly drop below 7 volts.

RE: New Receiver pack question
Hi, welcome to RCU. I think the correct one is the 7 volt pack. 5 cells fully charged at 6 volts is "missing" 1 cell. If they're both 5 cells then perhaps you can probe each cell on the low one and find a bad cell?

RE: New Receiver pack question
6v is nominal voltage- when fully charged it will be well over this, when discharging it will be under this. If the receiver states 5cell nixx it will be fine
