Default What batteries?

Hi, I just got a nitro rc truck and I was wondering what kind of aa batteries I should be using on my remote and on the truck for controlling servos, etc? Would cheap batteries effect performance (or not work at all) in my truck/controller?

Default RE: What batteries?

cheap batteries probably a false econmy. For the transmitter sony eneloop would be my choice (does the transmitter take 8xAA or a made up pack?)- either way hangtime hobbies will sort you out.

As for reciever- what size of truck and torque rating are servos, are they digital? (these will need higher capacity packs as they draw more amps). Your reciever may blow if you use more than say 6v so this might limit you. Nicd for reciever might be a simple solution however life packs are my preferred choice here..........
