battery question
i have a ni-cad 700 mah battery that i cycled 3 times it says 85.7 minutes when i discharged it to 1.05 per cell.but the mah were only 350. is this battery any good?

Chuck, The readings depend on the charger. Not all chargers are accurate. Nicads, like NiMH batteries don't reach their potential until 4 or 5 cycles. Put the battery on a slow charge, very slow and let charge for 24 hours. Then connect the battery to a Expanded scale voltmeter with a load, leave connect for 3 to 5 minutes and check the voltage. If the voltage drops below 1 voltage per cell, then the battery is bad.
Like I said before, some chargers don't give accurate readings when discharging.
Maybe someone else can add more information here.
