Default Hitec X4 Charging Questions

A couple of questions:
I usually select "LIPO Balance Charge" at 2.2A for the 2200mah when at home since it takes longer. At the field, I'll select "LIPO Charge" and skip the balance. Is this the typical way that others are using this charger? It has a "Fast Charge" setting but I understand it doesn't charge to 100% this way.
Also, most of my batteries are 2200mah and up. Now I have some smaller electrics that are 450mah and 750mah. Do I select .45A and .75A for the charge rate for these?
Just want to make sure I am using this charger correctly!

Again if time permits I balance charge at .8C (mah x.8). If I'm in a hurry I balance charge at 75% of the stated max rate. Some of my packs are 5c other are 10c. Some of my packs are very old an still work!
