Is there one charger that will do all I need?
So much "stuff" out there, so I am curious if there is one charger that will do all or most what i need,
here is what i would like to be able to do,
Receiver packs 4 and 5 cell and even the large ones like in gas vehicals,
Transmitters,
single cell glow igniters,
I would like fast charging "peak" style, and long charge and switches to trickle when done, a discharge feature would be cool, and running on both 12volt clamps/cig plug and 110 plug into wall,
Anything close to that?
Many thanks!
Cheers,
P.

iMax 4B6 will be a better choice. You can charge 4 different kinds of battery at the same time. http://www.focalrc.com/imax-4b6-mult...ry-p11407.html

[h=2] The Imax RC 4B6 Pro is a 50W (200W total) charger. The " large ones" may take some time to charge.[/h]I have nothing against 4 port chargers, as I own and use one. But, I'd like to see more lipo charge capability.
(80-100W per channel) My current four port is 80W per channel.
If I'm really pressed for time, I can, using a two port DPL-8 (~1300W per channel), and parallel adapters,
charge up to 12 of the same cell count lipos, or 6 of one cell count, and 6 of another.
What I usually do is charge the larger 5 and 6 cell lipos using the DPL-8, and 4 4 cell lipos on the four port.
Thus, within an hour or less, I have batteries charged for a day's flying. Usually what happens is that I start charging, and while that's going on,
check and load models and equipment into my truck. About the time I'm finished, the lipos are charged, and I'm about ready to hit the road for the field.

Wrote an article covering 3 different battery chargers. The Dynamite Prophet Sport Duo, a Dynamite Passport AC/DC LiPo, and a Duratrax Onyx 245. There are YouTube videos included. It's pretty basic, but maybe it can help you decide. I hope you find it helpful: http://www.partsrc.com/2014/01/26/3-...r-electric-rc/
